Indian King Cobra

As part of R's (5) 'Places I've Lived - India' project we've been learning about cobras.

First we googled 'Animals in India' and then chose five animals to search on Google Images.  R printed them out and together we labeled them.

R then chose one animal to learn more about.  He chose the cobra, the India King Cobra.    We watched a five minute documentary on  YouTube about the Indian King Cobra and learnt a few things we didn't know about this animal:

We also learnt  that the king cobra is the only snake to make a nest for its eggs.  They gather up leaves and other debris into a mound in which to keep their eggs until they hatch.
