Baker's Clay

Remember Baker's Clay?   Basically, it's dough that you can bake hard in an ordinary oven.    We  had some fun with it over the holidays.

The recipe is: 1 part salt, one part flour, one part water. Mix, mold and put in the oven to bake at 275 degress Fahrenheit/ 140 degrees Celsius  for about an hour or until golden brown and hard.

The children enjoyed manipulating, rolling, pressing, printing, cutting, stomping on, stretching, curling, adding, removing, baking painting and mixing colours.

Yes, that's our oven!
